"Animal" - The International Journal of Animal Bioscience out now!February 2007, Cambridge, England, UK & New York,
USA The first issue of "Animal"
is now available on Cambridge Journals Online. Published for The Animal
Consortium, animal publishes the best research in animal biology and animal
systems from across the spectrum of the agricultural, biomedical, and
environmental sciences.
Animal is the central element in an exciting collaboration between the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS), Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) and the European Federation for Animal Science (EAAP) and represents a merging of the three scientific journals: Animal Science; Animal Research; Reproduction, Nutrition, Development. “Animal”, say Cledwyn Thomas (Management Board) and Michel Doreau, Editor-in-Chief, “is a single forward-looking publication that will reduce fragmentation in the sector, improve synergies and, we hope, act as a catalyst for integrating process-level and systems science in the animal biosciences.” "Animal" is indispensable reading for all animal scientists with an interest in biochemistry, microbiology, nutrition, physiology, modelling, genetics, behaviour, immunology, epidemiology, food science and technology, farming, economics and sociology. The first issue is a sample issue available without charge online at: www.journals.cambridge.org/ANM About Cambridge University Press Journals
